Apply for unemployment benefits online using the Michigan Web Account Manager. MiWAM is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Saunders Settlement Agreement

The State of Michigan has reached a $55 million preliminary settlement in the Saunders v Unemployment Ins. Agency et al class action lawsuit with workers who believe they were wrongly asked to repay pandemic-era unemployment benefits before a protest or appeal was resolved.

Bauserman Settlement Update

Claimants who are part of the Bauserman v UIA class action lawsuit and have not returned a properly signed release to the Claims Administrator have until August 19, 2024, to do so. Claimants who cannot locate a release from the Claims Administrator should contact Analytics Consulting at 1-833-438-5028. Failure to return a release could result in losing the right to a payment.
